J. Clement Mashamba
Mr. Mashamba is a founder member of nola and the Executive Director. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. He has been a practicing lawyer since December 2002. Clement has an extensive experience in the development, governance and human rights fields, having volunteered and worked for TANESA (Tanzania-Netherlands Support Project on HIV/AIDS, Mwanza), DUBYP (Dar University-Based Youth Project), MECCO (Mwananchi Engineering & Contracting Corporation), and LHRC (Legal & Human Rights Centre). He is currently a part-time Lecturer at the Law School of Tanzania.
Ms Mhando is a founder member of nola and a lawyer currently working with the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, where she is working as an Assistant Registrar of Companies. She is a committed human rights activist in the country.
He is one of the proponents of the idea of legal aid and access to justice for all. He is also an outstanding Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and other subordinate courts save for the primary courts, currently working with the Public Servant Pension Fund (PSPF) as a Legal Counsel.
Mr. Mafuru is a prominent expert in marketing having worked in senior marketing portfolios with the defunct Kibo Breweries Ltd, Tanzania Breweries Ltd and now with the Vodacom Company Ltd.
Ms. Opiyo is lecturer at the Facult of Law, Mzumbe University. She is an outstanding human rights activists in the country.
